Valencia CF Femenino have reached an agreement with Jana Xin for her to guard the valencianista goal for the next two seasons, until 30 June 2027.
Jana, born in China on 29 September 2003, joins the project led by Mikel Crespo from Fundación Albacete (2024–25), a club where she finished last season as the third goalkeeper in the league with the most clean sheets—10 in total. Jana has already worked under Mikel at the Albacete side as well as during his time with the babazorro team.
The goalkeeper developed in the youth ranks of Atlético de Madrid, even becoming part of the first team squad that won the Spanish Super Cup in 2021. Following that success, she signed for Deportivo Alavés (2021–24).
Jana, of Asian origin but Spanish nationality, has represented Spain at youth international level. The summer of 2022 was a standout one for the goalkeeper, as she was crowned UEFA U19 European Champion and FIFA U20 World Champion with the national team.
She is a technically complete goalkeeper, known for her strong command in the air and excellent leadership skills.
Jana Xin: “I’m very happy to be here and to be part of this exciting new project. I’m really looking forward to starting and giving my best so that Valencia CF Femenino can return to where it belongs.”
